We primarily process data that users themselves voluntarily provide to us. Specifically, this is the data that users fill in when creating a user account and editing their profile, when setting up their account, and when creating posts and discussing in comments. For obvious reasons, we record user actions such as giving a "I like that" to a post or comment, what topics and other users the user follows, or who the user has blocked. We also store the content of messages sent in chat in our database. We also process all multimedia uploaded by users using our services. When using our search engine, search terms are stored. We also store the IP addresses of our users. For most actions performed by users, we store the date on which the action was performed.
When publishing content using our services, it is logical that this content and the information provided when it is posted will be available to the public. Publicly available data are specifically as follows:
As already mentioned, we process search terms during the search. These terms are then used to improve the search options and therefore search terms may be displayed to other users during searches.
The content and date of the messages sent via our chat are accessible to two users - the sender and the recipient. It is only their choice if they choose to make the content of private conversations available to someone else in any way.
We also process data that we do not share with anyone, namely:
Users can change or delete some of the data when they edit their profile. It is also possible to delete individual posts, "Likes", "Follows", and comments. To remove all data and personal information, users have the option to delete their user account. This option does not include data that we are required to keep for administrative, legal, or security reasons. After removing a user account, users' data may still exist in our backups for several weeks.
