Our users have the possibility to register and thus create a user account with us. When registering, the user chooses a username, provides us with a valid e-mail address and finally chooses a password. The user can then log in to the account using the password and username or e-mail address.Immediately after registration, a link will be sent to the e-mail address provided to verify that this is indeed your e-mail address. Without verification of the email address, you will not be able to use almost any of our other services and features.
In your user account, you can edit information about yourself as you wish. You can set or change your first and last name, username, bio (short text about the user), password, email address and profile picture. If the email is changed, the new email will need to be re-verified.
Settings allow our users to customize our services to best suit them. Here, users can set whether they want to receive notifications within our app, whether they want to be notified by email of new messages in our chat. They can set how they want to view sensitive content. They can choose from three options: "Display with censorship" (Sensitive content will be censored and the censorship will include a warning about the possibility of sensitive content. Once clicked, the content can be viewed without censorship), "View without censorship" (Sensitive content will be displayed just like other content - without any censorship or warning) and "Do not display at all" (Sensitive content will not be displayed to the user - neither with nor without censorship) It is also possible to set who can send a private message to users. Either all registered users, or only those the user follows. Users can decide whether they want to open posts in a new or existing browser window. We recommend that you adjust this setting immediately after registration.
Users are free to add posts. One post can contain up to five images or videos. It is also possible to add a caption to a post and assign the post to up to ten different topics. If you enter a topic that already exists in our database, the post will only be assigned to it. However, if your topic is not yet in our databases, you will automatically create a new topic to which your post will be assigned and other users will be able to add their own posts to the topic. Before posting, users must determine whether or not the post contains sensitive content.
Posts added by our users may appear in many places within our services, such as directly on the homepage, in searches, or on individual user profiles. The quick view feature allows users to browse images and videos from individual posts without having to open the entire post.
Each post can be commented on by other users. Comments can contain either text, image or video. If a user posts a comment with a video or image, they must decide whether the comment contains sensitive content or not, just as they do before posting. It is also possible to reply to each comment. A reply to a comment can only contain text. The reply also shows the username of the user for whom the reply is intended. The author of a post can delete individual comments added to that post and moderate the discussion.
Users can follow other users and thus be followed themselves. It is also possible to follow individual topics. Posts, comments and replies to comments can be added to favourites using "I like that".
Users can enter search terms into our search engine. They will then be shown whether there are posts, users or topics in our database that match the search term. Search terms can be stored in our database and then displayed to other users when they search.
Within our app, we send real-time alerts to users if something happens that they might want to know about. For example, if someone comments on their post, "likes" their comment, starts following them or sends them a message. In the case of a new message, if the user isn't currently active and therefore wouldn't see the notification right away, we send a notification to the user's email address.
Users can use our chat for private communication. With chat, you can send classic text messages, pictures, videos or share individual posts.
If someone is bothered in any way by the activities of one of our users, they can block them. This way, the two users will not see each other's activity and cannot interact with each other in any way. The user who blocked the other user can unblock the other user at any time.
Although we strongly believe that you will never need to use this option, any registered user can delete their user account. This will remove all of the user's data from our databases except for messages that remain in chats with other users. Your data may still be in our backups for several weeks after you delete your account.
If anyone has any problem with a particular post, comment, user or anything, they can use the report function or let us know in any way and we'll be sure to resolve it.

Although we present ourselves as a social network with minimal censorship, every user must note that the purpose of DoupBiz is primarily entertainment, and therefore posts and comments depicting excessive brutality, for example, will be deleted. Furthermore, DoupBiz is certainly not used to spread misinformation and spam.
Each user is only allowed to create one user account. It is forbidden to create fake user accounts and impersonate someone else.
Any user posting multimedia content using our services and features is responsible for deciding whether that content is sensitive or not. We consider sensitive content to be multimedia that displays:
Users acknowledge that if they post or comment with sensitive content without properly marking the post/comment as "containing sensitive content", they may cause such sensitive content to be seen by, for example, persons under the age of 18 or sensitive people who may be disturbed by such content.
Within our chat, we do not provide the option to select whether a message contains sensitive content, so each user should think about what content they are sending to whom before sending a message.
Posts with sensitive content are generally not suitable for children and minors, and users must take care not to make such content available to children and minors in any way by their actions.
All registered users have three choices in their account settings for how they want to view sensitive content:
All non-logged-in users will only see censored previews of posts and comments with sensitive content, but will not be able to view that content.
A few moments after posts, comments or messages are posted, the images and videos that have been uploaded will start to be processed. In order to save our storage capacity and to speed up the loading of content, these multimedia are compressed. In the case of posts and comments, our watermark is added to the bottom left corner of the image or video along with the username of the user who posted it. When uploading videos, thumbnails may be created.
It is not within our ability to monitor all user activity and therefore all content is checked on a purely random basis. Anyone can let us know if something is wrong with a particular post, comment or user by using the 'report' function. We reserve the right to remove any content added by users using our services without giving any reason. Our administrators may mark individual posts and comments as "containing sensitive content" or vice versa "without sensitive content". They may also categorise posts to particular topics.
We are the social network DoupBiz, allowing our users to share content with minimal censorship. You can find more in the section About DoupBiz.
